Great restaurants are, of course, nothing but mouth-brothels.  There is no point in going to them if one intends to keep one’s belt buckled.

Frederic Raphael

Dinner can be a precursor to the night’s event but to individuals who possess an epicurean palette it is the main event.  The Journey of a Foodie can be a deplorable affair, as many restaurants are more focused on quantity rather than quality, but when one loses hope a chef surprises you with their creativity, freshness and passion.  It is this sites mission to find restaurants that are able to take dishes to new heights and hopefully remove the bitter taste that has been left in the mouth of fellow foodies in their search for culinary excellence.
